The issue is still reproducible no matter how the diagram will be imported as local file (XML in description) or as .drawio or externally using URL. The background won't be displayed.
I've additionally tested with latest version of app (1.19.4) on 13.10 XWiki. For example, I used this infographic diagram with dark background (see this link)
However, after saving imported diagram, user can see a grey background instead of original black one
OMV, the issue isn't related to Diagram (Pro). It's mostly an issue of draw.io dependency, which currently in app is 20.5.0, while on repository is 22.1.3 but still issue can be reproduced on https://app.diagrams.net/. If we want to see fixed version, then issue shall be reported on https://github.com/jgraph/drawio/issues repository
@snazare Tested on XWiki 15.10.10 with version 1.21-rc-1, extension id com.xwiki.diagram:application-diagram (drawio24.5.5) - got the same result as above, the diagram imported doesn't contain the background image
Preconditions: Have a diagram with some shapes and a background Image exported as XML.
Steps to reproduce:
Expected results: The diagram is imported as created and exported.
Actual results: The background image isn't shown after import.
NOTE: Same steps were done on draw.io and the background image is showing successfully after the import.
Environment: Windows 11, XWiki 14.10.10, Chrome 114, Diagram Application (Pro) 1.19
