Describe the current behavior in detail

Environment:

  • OS: macOS Sequoia 15.0
  • Wallets: MetaMask
  • Browser: Google Chrome Version 129.0.6668.71 (Official Build) (x86_64)
  • wormhole-connect-mainnet

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Initiate a transaction (0.01 DAI from Arbitrum (MetaMask) to Optimism (MetaMask))
  2. Wait for the transaction to reach the claiming stage
  3. On page with In-Progress widget observe that the "Wrapping up..." text is displayed
  4. Refresh the page with widget
  5. Observe that the "Wrapping up..." text is replaced by an infinite loading icon.
  6. Wait for an extended period and note that the "Wrapping up..." text does not reappear.

Actual Result: The "Wrapping up..." text disappears and is replaced by an infinite loading icon after refreshing the page. The text does not reappear.

Expected Result: The "Wrapping up..." text should remain visible in the widget displaying transactions in progress even after refreshing the page.
