This release will be used to mark submission to WP.ORG and contains a number of fixes identified during the earlier beta testing phase.

Notable issues that have been addressed include:

• #154 - The site cannot be verified on the onboarding process
• #168, #169 - Improve handling when connecting a Personal account
• #170 - Infinite "you are probably offline" error popup in onboarding with ad-blocker installed
• #192 - Feed generation not completing and being re-scheduled every 10 minutes
• #215 - Reduce Minimum PHP Version to 7.3
• #217 - Cancel ActionScheduler jobs on account disconnection

Beta Release 2

After running 1.0.0-beta.1 through SAU/CAL QA Team, we've found a bunch of issues around accounts that had some sort of activity before attempting the onboarding for the first time:

• #160, #155, #161, #165, #180, #181 Are all issues related to our teams testing with the same accounts over and over again, and the plugin not handling these scenarios properly. Most of these are closed by PR #182.
• #179 exposes a race condition that happens when the feed is not yet generated by the time Pinterest attempts to access it. This is addressed by PR #164.
• #154 exposes an issue that happens when the domain verification takes a bit of time. In order to work around these issue, we’ve implemented a delay between retries (currently 3 before displaying the error seen on the issue) of 5 seconds in PR #156.

This beta should be considered deliverable to the Closed Beta Program that Pinterest is running.

Beta Release

This is the tentative beta release to be sent to beta testing merchants.

• This includes a notice on the landing page of the onboarding which shows that this is not meant for public use ( see PR #152 ).
• This handles all the issues (code related) assigned by SAU/CAL and A8C to the 1.0.0 milestone.
• SAU/CAL will run this through QA, and will get feedback in case it's needed.
• After SAU/CAL QA finishes testing, there might be a new beta package. It should be all under the Aug 23 deadline.
