I want to try to use this for a open source project but I want to know what the license behind this is?

At the end of the readme file, it reads

The following plugins/libraries are used: jQuery, Isotope, Tabletop.js, Handlebars.js, jQuery imagesLoaded plugin, and jQuery resize event

NOTE: All of the elements are free for non-commercial use. Commercial use of Isotope requires a $25 license.

not at all.

This talks about libraries it uses but does not cover what license the source code itself is under.

"Free" is not a license, non-commercial use or otherwise.

I would recommend MIT, thanks.
