Project Abstract

This is the last phase of the Contract Wizard project, our primary objective is to significantly enhance the functionality and versatility of our user's contract creation process. Building on the success of the previous phases, this phase aims to introduce a broader range of smart contract standards and a novel feature allowing users to inject custom code.

Grant level

  • Level 1: Up to $10,000, 2 approvals
  • Level 2: Up to $30,000, 3 approvals
  • Level 3: Unlimited, 5 approvals (for >$100k: Web3 Foundation Council approval)

Application Checklist

  • The application template has been copied and aptly renamed (project_name.md).
  • I have read the application guidelines.
  • Payment details have been provided (bank details via email or Polkadot (USDC & USDT) address in the application).
  • I am aware that, in order to receive a grant, I (and the entity I represent) have to successfully complete a KYC/KYB check.
  • The software delivered for this grant will be released under an open-source license specified in the application.
  • The initial PR contains only one commit (squash and force-push if needed).
  • The grant will only be announced once the first milestone has been accepted (see the announcement guidelines).

Thanks for the follow-up @cmalfesi while the application itself looks good, in my opinion, it may be good to look for alternative funding at this price point, since we've already funded a few grants for the project. Besides treasury funding, the newly launched Decentralized Futures program might be a better option as well. But we'll see what the other committee members think.

Thanks a lot for the application and all the effort you put into this, and sorry for the delay here. However, the grant committee decided today not to go ahead with it. We would like to see this in the future either funded via the treasury or via some kind of other business model. The grants program shouldn’t fund projects for a longer period of time since we are not in a position to be the only source to decide what is useful for the community and what isn’t. Let us know if you have any other questions.
