Project Abstract

Tokenguard responds to W3F Request for Proposal regarding creation of a comprehensive data analytics & insight discovery tool for the Substrate ecosystem. We believe that delivering free of charge community analytics will further enhance growth of the whole Polkadot & Kusama ecosystems.

Our solution focuses on making the insight discovery process fun & easy for users by perfecting the UX and making the data highly accessible.

Thanks @caaaml and thanks for reducing the scope. Looks good to me now, so mark as ready for review and ping the rest of the committee to take a look.

Hey @caaaml, sorry for the long wait. On top of the many application, we also had the launch of the Decentralized Futures program, which brings about thoughts about the alignment of the grants program. As you know, we are keen on open source development, meaning that we have been happy to fund projects as long as they are open source. However, many of these projects have stalled or failed due to a lack of community, interest and/or long term vision. I'm worried that what you are building is too tightly coupled with your platform architecture to be useful by itself. Also, it is my impression that it requires a business model to maintain a data project/platform of this complexity long term. That being said, I am going to give my approval, in the hopes that your project will serve the community, bring new people and that you continue contributing to the ecosystem.

Congratulations and welcome to the Web3 Foundation Grants Program! Please refer to our Milestone Delivery repository for instructions on how to submit milestones and invoices, our FAQ for frequently asked questions and the support section of our README for more ways to find answers to your questions.

Before you start, take a moment to read through our announcement guidelines for all communications related to the grant or make them known to the right person in your organisation. In particular, please don't announce the grant publicly before at least the first milestone of your project has been approved. At that point or shortly before, you can get in touch with us at [email protected] and we'll be happy to collaborate on an announcement about the work you’re doing.

Lastly, please remember to let us know in case you run into any delays or deviate from the deliverables in your application. You can either leave a comment here or directly request to amend your application via PR. We wish you luck with your project! 🚀

Hey @keeganquigley, sorry for the delay - we wanted to make sure everything works well and you can access a live demo of the delivery to check it out. Tomorrow we will deliver both milestones with an additional demo instance.
