I was contacted by the chairs of the Knowledge Graph Construction CG, who would like to create a Working Group. The WG is producing a set of specification around RML (RDF Mapping Language), which can be seen as a generalization and an extension of R2RML. In particular, while R2RML works only on relational data, RML can map many other kinds of data to RDF.
RML specs and tools are largely developed in Academia, but is used in many contexts, including in the industry and governmental agencies. A Dagstulh seminar in February, co-organized by the CG chairs, on a related topic, should be the occasion of identifying more interested stakeholders and gauge their interest
