Contributing to voila-gallery.github.io

Voilà is a subproject of Project Jupyter and subject to the Jupyter governance and Code of conduct.

General Guidelines

Community

The Voilà team organizes public video meetings. The schedule for future meetings and minutes of past meetings can be found on our team compass.

Run the gallery locally

voila-gallery.org is deployed as a static website on GitHub Pages, and is powered by Jekyll and BinderHub.

  1. Install jekyll by following these instructions: https://jekyllrb.com/docs/installation/
  2. Run: jekyll serve
  3. Open http://localhost:4000 in a new browser tab
  4. Refresh the page after making modifications to the static files
