Support for other SoC devices #65
Comments
Since I do not have such devices for debugging (and there is not much knowledge for reverse engineering), I think at the moment this is something like impossible. |
understood completely |
Do you plan on adding support for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC or any of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8xx processors? |
@kleytr6s, the answer is the same as the previous question. Since I do not have a device, I cannot do anything. In addition, the project is currently frozen, because I now have a Samsung with an Exynos processor without root... |
I was pleased to see this software available, I'd like to have a FLOSS-compliant radio on my device, but my phone is not Qualcomm-based, it's a Galaxy S3 with an Exynos SoC. I there any chance/how difficult would it be to support those devices? I previously used SpiritFM, so presume there is a "driver" in that software which would support the Exynos.
Thanks
