I would love to use tg-timer with clocks with low BPH such as mechanical wall clocks, for example one is running with 6300 bph. It seems to me code is not designed to process >0.5s periods so my hope for a quick fix is quite faint.

Please add 10800 bph!

When I make a recording of the ticking of my table clock (which has a balance wheel), convert to 2x speed using sox and play back over the speaker, tg picks up the ticking at 21600 bph. An absurd work around, but it works!

What happens when you type in '10800' in the bph pulldown at top left?
If that doesn't work please post your clock ticking audio file somewhere, at least 60 seconds, and post the url here, and I'll take a look at it.

The current release code doesn't seem to work for 10800 I'm afraid.
A fix for this issue has been suggested ( ##27 (review)), but has not made it to published executable code yet.
