[BUG] After installation chrome stops working. #7
Comments
@gupta-shrinath Can you try the steps suggested in this article maybe it will help you out. |
Hi @gupta-shrinath Could you tell me what steps you exactly follow? My assumption is probably browser/access/privacy settings. Or some other extension trying to effect it? After unpacking the extension and reloading WhatsApp Web should work. You can also try giving it a shot in Incognito/InPrivate. You just have to give access to the extension. Thank you @kana800 :D |
I followed the instruction mentioned in the README for installation. Here's the browser version details
The extension works on incognito mode weird.I tried clearing cache but it didn't work on normal window. I tried the suggestion by @kana800 but it didn't work for me. After I load the extension I see the following in console. |
Alright, thank you for the details!
This essentially means the previous assumption could be right. It is a local issue.
So, try disabling a few extensions, look around a few browser settings, and let me know if the issue is resolved. |
I installed this extension on my work laptop managed by admin. After installation, the WhatsApp web won't load, and chrome won't open even after restarting it. After the system restart chrome works (without the extension enabled). I don't know how I can debug the issue let me know of any fix.
