Traffic routing

There is a question. Is it possible to set up traffic routing in Algo VPN so that some sites open through VPN, and others through normal Internet access? How can this be configured?

I have a related question. On my LAN, I have various hosts at e.g. foo.bar.lan, typically resolved by an instance of dnsmasq running on my router. On a Linux client (Arch Linux, with NetworkManager and systemd-resolved), when the NetworkManager connection created by Algo is active, all DNS requests are routed to the Algo instance and I'm unable to resolve my lan-specific domains.

To be clear, this is exactly how I'd expect things to work. My question is: what's the best practice for configuring NetworkManager and/or systemd-resolved such that only ".lan" addresses are resolved by my local DNS server and everything else is handled by Algo?

I can fix this in a sense by adding:

DNS=<local-dns-server-ip>
Domains=~lan

...to /etc/systemd/resolved.conf, but I'm hoping that there's a finer-grained way to do this given that it's specific to the situation in which I am both connected to this particular network and using this VPN. Any suggestions would be appreciated; thanks!
