Traccar Client for Android doesn't send any update on phone without SIM card

I have installed Traccar Client from PlayStore on smartphone LG-K40 and configured its ID on demo.traccar.org
Double checked that internet connection through WiFi is working , give permission to access localization services
set update frequency to 30 and start service
On Status page of client I can see 'Service started' and 'Network online' messages but no no messages are sent to demo.traccar.org ( verified by tcpdump on gateway )

If I put SIM card into the phone, everything works fine.

Do you see any location update messages on the status screen. If not, that's your problem and not the SIM card.

Are you testing indoors? GPS doesn't work indoors, so phones usually rely on cell network for location in those cases and if you remove SIM it will likely fail. That could explain it.

@hexanet67 , try another app which can show your device GPS-location (like GPS Test, Organic Maps, etc.), and see whether the location is updatable without SIM-card in your phone.
