Filter based on span duration?

I feel I may have missed some obvious things, if that's the case please bear with me. 🙏

Is there a way to configure trace to filter out span based on its duration, such as ignoring span took shorter than N? Current trace I'm emitting is written into filesystem (via chrom-tracing for event trace format), where in some cases it can be too excessively large to load up in its viewer, or reduce noises to filter out non-perf critical spans.
