Currently, we have 3 modules with nearly identical code:

Instead of manually maintaining them, we should make an autogen script like GKE.

I suggest that we consider how to re-architect the existing modules to promote composition by the calling configurations to obviate the motivation for this.

Agreed, but I think it's overall low-priority.
