Add to Redmine API

Would it be possible to also add an extension to the Redmine REST API for this plugin?

Use case: we use Redmine tickets as input for certain scripted tasks and we would like to enforce that these scripts can not be ran while the user is in stealth mode or that the script is able to disable the stealth mode before executing certain actions (we're talking about deployment scripts here, where all actors involved must be kept up to date).
