I trust archive.org, but it wouldn't be a bad idea, now that they're available, to download the emails directly from WikiLeaks, now that they've made them available in bulk. Download entire raw dataset for all published Podesta Emails here.
The announcement ends with an interesting note: "In some cases, non-validating messages can be made to validate by attempting to guess the suspected formatting or forwarding modifications to the headers or body and reversing them."
