I have an app that works offline with the option to synchronize data between devices through the local network. It uses DNS-SD to discover the devices in the network and their IPs, and then sends a HTTP request (using Angular's HttpClient) to the device to start syncing data.
This is working well on Windows and Linux's release builds. On Android, though, it only works on the dev environment (i.e.
npm run tauri android dev
). The release build can't load the other devices' pages. My question is, can this be an issue of permissions? If so, how can I create a scope/permission sufficiently generic to be used to fetch data from local network devices?
