Define Dataset: Incorporation Data (Companies)

Define the essential substantive elements of the core Incorporation dataset. What are the components that it must minimally include? Do we have a dataset that we could hold up as a model?

In my limited experience, it seems like you'd need:

• ID
• name
• address
• registered agent
• registered agent's address
• date of incorporation
• status
• state formed
• officers
• shares (if applicable)

Looking at OpenCorporates' API reference, this may actually cover things pretty well.

Yeah, I think that's the minimum viable dataset.
