1. To be able to copy the CSS hex code without the "#" in front
Have as setting the possibility to copy the CSS hex code without "#", for example #22272e to be copied as 22272e. Useful because most websites that allow you to edit the colour of icons online automatically put the "#" in front, so the last digit or letter is not accepted by these websites.
2. The application to run in "The System Tray"
The application to be able to run in "The System Tray" and when you click on it and hold down your mouse click it will start detecting colors in the area where you move the mouse. Most Windows applications that detect colors work this way.
3. Editable text area
To the right of the saved colours there should be an editable text area where you can write something short. For example "Blue color like Booking". Clients (who are not programmers) always ask for something like: I want the background colour to be the "blue color of Booking". So saving these hints would be very helpful.
4. Search form for a saved colour
To be able to quickly search for a colour you saved. The form should look in the editable text area where you added your hint. Example: You saved a color with a hint (step 3), something like "Blue like Booking", when you search for "booking" it will filter the results and show you only that colour which you can quickly copy by clicking on copy button.
5. Ability to export/import saved colours
Very useful for web and mobile designers.
Now I use Pick app on Linux Mint 20.3.
