Collections of open questions that we encountered during the flink-integration:

  • Assumptions for MapmmChain t(X) %*% (X %*%v)
    • BlockSizes
      • A1: Vector is always one block, always fits in memory
    • Partitioning
      • thiw works if the matrix is row-wise partitioned, e.g. one row fits into one block AND the broadcasted vector fits in one block.
