Setup instructions in IntelliJ

@lhazlewood, @nbarbettini mentioned you had to do some additional set up in IntelliJ to get things to work. Could you please share them? I tried importing this as a maven project, and it's not detecting what to run.

It's probably worth putting together a wiki in Confluence to describe the setup steps here.

I dropped the ball, sorry! I'm not the best person to figure out how to set up IntelliJ. Perhaps @dogeared or @mrioan could help?
