Multi-speaker sound sync

Good day,

first off, thanks for a much-needed project.. backwards software companies and their licensing requirements.. blech.

Second, I'm wondering if anyone else is having sync issues when playing to multiple speakers, especially when playing with other airplay devices.

Airsonos on Ubuntu 14 LTS, dual-core AMD 3.2ghz machine.

1. multiple sonos speakers - sound is badly out of sync (less than 1 second) when playing via Airsonos + iTunes. Perfectly in sync when playing from Sonos App. (IE Network is fine)
2. multiple airplay speakers - perfectly in sync (love shairport-sync)
3. sonos speakers + airplay - 3-4 seconds out of sync. Suspect this is due to the proxy/transcode time. Any way to either play other airplay devices via the same output.. or?

Not sure if this is a bug, misconfiguration, or feature request, but I suspect the latter?

I was wondering if I could extend my airplay setup with some songs speakers. Did you get the SYNC problem resolved?
