### Manually Saving Data
Whenever your vuejs template is a little more complex and you can not simply bind `v-model` to `data`, you need to assign key / value pairs to the `data` object manually.
Once you're done processing / computing or otherwise working with the data in your vue fieldtype, you can prepare it to be saved like this:
``` .language-javascript
methods: {
someFinalMethod: function(title) {
let this = that;
that.data = {
collection: title,
books: ['Harry Potter', 'Steven Kings Pet Cemetary']
}
}
},
```

The fields `collection` & `books` would automatically save, whenever the publishing form is submitted. The resulting YAML would look like this:
``` .language-yaml
fieldname:
collection: My personal favorites
books:
- 'Harry Potter'
- 'Steven Kings Pet Cemetary'
```
