Hi,
there is a bug report in Debian about [quartets.c:393:31: error: implicit declaration of function ‘basename’; did you mean ‘rename’? -Werror=implicit-function-declaration. I've created a patch which fixes the problem.
Kind regards, Andreas.

Dear Andreas,
I probably meant basename, yet ExaML is not being maintained any more,
it's supercomputing functionality has been fully implemented in RAxML-NG
which now scales from the laptop to the supercomputer.
All the best,
Alexis
