Virtual Therapy Songs and Chatbot (ELIZA)

This is a project that provides theraputic songs and a chatbot called ELIZA to help users relax, reduce stress, and improve their mental health.The project is developed using React-Native and can be run on an Android emulator.

Prerequisites

Before you start using the virtual therapy songs and chatbot, you need to have the following:

Installation

To install the virtual therapy songs and chatbot, you need to do the following:

  1. Clone the repository or download the ZIP file.
  2. Open a terminal or command prompt and navigate to the project directory.
  3. Run the following command to install the required packages:
npm install
  1. Open Android Studio and create a new virtual device by following these steps:
  2. Click on the "AVD Manager" button in the toolbar.
  3. Click on the "Create Virtual Device" button.
  4. Select a device definition and click on the "Next" button.
  5. Select a system image and click on the "Next" button.
  6. Set the configuration options and click on the "Finish" button.
  7. Start the virtual device by clicking on the "Play" button in the AVD Manager.
  8. Run the following command to start the project:
npx react-native run-android
  1. The project will be installed and run on the virtual device.

Usage

To use the virtual therapy songs and chatbot, you need to do the following:

  1. Open the app on the virtual device.
  2. Login in to the app using your email address and password.
  3. Listen to the healing songs by clicking on the them.
  4. Use the chatbot by typing your message in the input field and pressing the "Send" button.
  5. ELIZA will respond to your message and you can continue the conversation.

If you encounter any issues or errors while using the songs and chatbot, you can try the following:

  • Make sure that you have followed the prerequisites and installation steps correctly.
  • Check the console log of the virtual device for any error messages or warnings.
