Hi there,

leverage me and help me contribute more code to the opensource community for building better sports data services based on Garmin, Suunto, Polar etc.

I am currently working on Quantified Self IO which is a service / platform that connects in near realtime to Suunto and Garmin, providing deep analysis, summaries and customisation of your dashboard etc.

The service is opensource but it also provides 2 major libs, Sports-Lib for all sports data and FIT-File-Parser for decoding binary Garmin FIT files into Javascript / Typescript

About me a bit:

  • I am Dimi, I have been living all around the world and I consider my self to be a citizen of the world
  • I am working on sports data over 5 years, providing libraries for parsing Garmin FIT files to a complete platform on Firebase
  • It's important for me to be able to not need to pay server costs, development time and be able to lift off the opensource platforms I am building.
