Hi,

I'm Christian, a software developer and weather enthusiast from Germany, living in Canada. In 2015 I founded Meteostat, a platform which aims to make weather and climate data freely available to everyone.

Since then, I'm constantly developing Meteostat as an open source project. The platform offers free weather and climate data as bulk download, via a powerful Python library and a straightforward JSON API.
