Immanently, we will be introducing a 'Top Issues Dashboard' for tracking community demand (here is an example from the github-readme-stats repo).

Whilst all contributions are greatly received, a clear indication of community demand will help those contributors (who want to) focus their efforts on the most upvoted.

Introducing measures to support product roadmap planning has been something we've been looking at for a while, and this is a first experimental step towards that.
