Drive & Home locations default to grid on app restart, even on explorer view setting change

Issue description

When I set my Explorer View, through settings, to anything other than Grid view, it does not apply. Even if I try to manually set Home & Drive locations to List view, they default to Grid view on app restart. This also happens with locations, they do not follow the Explorer View setting, but if set to List, they keep that setting even after app restarts.

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to Settings > Appearance
2. Change Explorer View to List View.
3. Check Home & Drive locations.
4. They are still on Grid view.

Hello, thank you for the report.

We currently only support view persistence/saving within indexed locations and not ephemeral ones. Ephemeral = Home, Drive, etc.. The default for them is indeed Grid.

We will be supporting them soon.

However, i am experiencing this issue with the Appearance setting for Locations. It isn't handling the set value in the settings as it is probably conflicting with the manually saved option.

We will get this fixed.
