Occasionally Scopus assigns a new ID to sources from one year to the other. This might happen when they change title or get a new publisher (example).

This creates problem when we identify one ID as relevant to look for the search group, and the source ID change falls within the year range. Because then we miss the other ID and look at too few publications, eventually overlooking potential matches.

A solution would be to include a mapping of superseded IDs.

Problem is very common in Computer Science, because Scopus messes up conference proceeding series tremendously.
