Hi,

Since 1.62 and + on Windows 10 x64
When i run Snes9x with Romstation there is an error message with Save folder which is wrong, because the folder is not protected read-only and i own the rights.

But from Snes 9x 1.61, the message doesn't occur.

Check what you've configured in "Emulation->Settings" as the "Saves" directory. Can you write into that directory without an admin prompt?

S9x tries to create the file "ROMNAME.---" in this folder, and if it cannot do this will show this error.

Already did, the Saves folder is correct and even so, if i remove it, the software remake it again and still giving me this error.
Yes i can write inside the folder without admin prompt

There is absolutely no message with v1.61 version, this issue begins starting vs 1.62.0 to the latest.

It's running into a character encoding snafu.
