Multiple table columns in middle pane force text behind code pane

I am taking this project over and there's some visual items we are trying to fix. Mainly when we have very long parameter names in the middle pane, the description text gets pushed behind the code pane. I want to fix the naming convention issue, but I also would like to find a way to force the table columns to wrap at a certain amount of characters. Is that possible? I am not a front end dev, so my apologies if this is not the best way to approach this. I am totally open to suggestions though. Thank you!

An option - in source > stylesheets > variables.scss > line 58, you can reduce the percentage of the screen taken up by the code examples (far right pane) to allow for more space within the descriptions and their tables.

$examples-width: 50% !default; // portion of the screen taken up by code examples

Thanks, i have tried that option, but then some of the code samples push off to the right and that is not acceptable to the stakeholders either. Even though, you can scroll to the side there's no visual scroll bar and they are concerned about the users missing something. I would really like the lines to break at a specified width in the table so that it can be more responsive but I myself am not sure how to set that.
