Why did you join sktime's mentorship program?

• To familiarize myself with contributing to Open Source.
• To improve my coding and software design skills.

What topics are you working on?

Issues I worked on in the past are:

• Implement predict_quantiles and predict_intervals in theta forecasters, tests in base class sktime#1579
• [ENH] Add predict_quantiles to ets, pmdarima adapter sktime#1874
• Add predict_quantiles to FBprophet sktime#1910
• [DOC] forecaster tutorial: multivariate forecasting, probabilistic forecasting sktime#2041

Smaller issues:

• Fixes prophet bug concerning the internal change of exogenous X sktime#1711
• Refactors tsfresh classifier sktime#1473

What's next for you after the mentorship program?
I would like to continue contributing to sktime and Open Source, when research and my other time-constraints allow for it. I have started working on quantile predictions on composite forecasters sktime/sktime#2081 and I am hoping to be able to work on that some more.
