GOV Proposal: Decisions with delayed announcement date

Certain decisions contain information that is sensitive at the time of proposal, a mechanism is needed where these decisions can first be made confidentially, but are made public after this sensitive time period has expired. This allows for transparency without the compromising time sensitive information.

Proposed Procedure

• It can first be made public that there is a reserved decision commencing in the meeting notes of the council.
• The minutes will also contain the time when it will be made public.
• Once that time arrives, all relevant information and minutes about the decision are made public.
