Hello,

I would like to update my SMP server. When I run the sudo simplex-servers-update command, I get the following message:

root@SimpleX:~# simplex-servers-update
/usr/local/bin/smp-server: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.1.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Updating scripts...

- Updating update script...Done!
Re-executing Update script with latest updates...Unsupported Ubuntu version!
Please file Github issue with request to support Ubuntu 23.04: https://github.com/simplex-chat/simplexmq/issues/new

What should I do in this case?

Thanks in advance

Hello there.

Ubuntu 23.04 is not an LTS release according to Ubuntu, so we wouldn't support it. However, we can add latest 24.04 LTS to our releases, so you could update your server to latest LTS version (see this guide - Ubuntu - How to upgrade).

I'll create a PR adding a support for 23.04, but you'll be unable to update until we'll release a new version.

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. My current version cannot be upgraded to 24.04. I'm going to reinstall it. Is there any way of backing up important data on the server side, so that it can be restored on a new installation?
