Using desktoppr to use a custom dynamic wallpaper does not seem to work unless the wallpaper has been previously selected via the System Settings application.

To Reproduce:

  • create custom light/dark dynamic wallpaper
  • set wallpaper via Desktoppr
  • switch appearance from light to dark
  • the wallpaper will stay in the primary wallpaper

Desktoppr does work if you load the custom wallpaper into System Settings and select it from there first.

setDesktopImageURL is the method, which does not have an option for setting a dynamic wallpaper, which means it is likely that Apple would need to add before this could be fixed.
