Leaving the launcher unfocused for a while causes excessive CPU usage #162

When I leave the launcher open for a few seconds without having it focused it starts to slowly increase it's CPU usage until it hits 100% of a single CPU. I'm not sure if this is a platform problem or a wxLauncher problem but I think this is a good place to start investigating.

I am using Fedora 25 with wxWidgets 3.0.
