I am also having the same problem, and only in the Calls module, as well as in the Tasks module, in the detailed view section. If it has a value in "related to" that includes an accent or ñ, it also gives character errors. I also checked the config.php files to ensure they have UTF-8 by default, and they do. However, the system still returns these character errors.
