What is needed?

Since there is a new major version of Web3 we have to migrate from version 6 to version 7. This implies also migrating HexBytes to the new stable version as it is a dependency for the new version of Web3.

In the first migration attempt working on the dependabot PR, we encountered a problem related to ambiguous function calls in the contract.

We have opened an issue in the Web3 repository to check the problem.
