Is it possible to retrieve/burn tokens inside the merkle distributor?

There was a faulty configuration (I didn't take decimals into account), and tokens were sent to the ATA before realizing the mistake. Is there any remedy?

Or do I treat those tokens as lost forever?

You'll have to add an instruction tot he program to do this.

I believe you can set a freeze authority on your token and freeze all those tokens too, but I believe the best way is to just create a new distributor and start over.
