Thank you for already addressing so many questions in the FAQ.

The FAQ says that 1) the Foundation will be U.S.-based, 2) there will not be counterpart/satellite entities elsewhere at this time, and 3) the Foundation will hire for infrastructure roles.

Will the above three factors result in hiring in the U.S. only? If not, how are things expected to work? (I can think of present infrastructure contribution from the EU. I have no idea if anyone from the EU would like to be hired.)

The foundation will hire globally, not only in the US. As part of choosing the location, we prioritized research into the options for how to manage this effectively. One common strategy is to use a Global Professional Employment Organization (PEO), which is an intermediary company that specializes in managing employees and employment laws around the globe. Ultimately, of course, the foundation is responsible for deciding on these sorts of operational details.
