Rumprun+QEMU/KVM boot time #107

While running rumprun with QEMU/KVM I figured that the C entry point - x86_boot() is called after about 2 sec (1600-2100 msec)... is it expected to bootloader and assembly part of bmk to take such long time?
Any ideas on how to optimize that process?
