could I help to implement this? Can I get the results from here(http://people.apache.org/phonebook.html?pmc=flink)?

Hey, thanks!
Yes, you can help with this if you want.

But we should talk about two things:

  1. The apache phonebook contains the Apache ID, not the GitHub username. The proper endpoint is probably this (secret) group in the apache GH org: https://github.com/orgs/apache/teams/flink-committers
  2. I don't think that this issue is very critical at the moment. We are not adding Flink committers very frequently.
If you are very eager to contribute, then maybe on another ticket in this project.
OR, if you are really eager, I'm actually looking for somebody to implement a simple backend for a Flink community packages page.

thank you for your quick reply @rmetzger , ok, I'll try to implement the simple backend for a Flink community packages page, where can I find the ticket? I did not find it in the issues(https://github.com/rmetzger/flink-community-tools/issues)

Great!
I have not yet created a ticket for this effort.
There is a discussion about this community packages / ecosystem project on the dev@ list from Flink. I'm going to describe the project requirements in the mailing list thread

I've created a repo (https://github.com/rmetzger/flink-ecosystem) for the project.
Here is the design document: https://docs.google.com/document/d/12oCItoLbKrLGuwEUFcCfigezIR2hW3925j1hh3kGp4A/edit#
What do you think about the proposal?

thank you for sharing the design document, it seems ok to me.
do we need to implement the backend from scratch or based on some other projects?

I think we need to implement it from scratch.
If you want, I can offer to you have a call tomorrow at 5pm China time to discuss how we want to kick this off.

Thank you for the offer, I think a call is needed for me to understand somethings better, but I have a sync meeting on 5pm China time(we'll have a team outing to Thailand tomorrow, and come back on next Monday, so have a sync meeting before the outing), could we have a call between 8pm ~ 10pm China time? if you already have schedules in that time slot, maybe we could have a call after I come back from Thailand.

Okay, I've send you and @sorahn an invite for 9pm China time. Thanks for accommodating this time for us!
