Upon closing and reopening the software, it "re-grabs" all of my books, resetting my progress and bookmarks in each. Saves all other settings fine.

On New 3DS running (hacked) Japanese firmware, off of SD card. Launched using TWiLight Menu++.

Fixes attempted:

  • reinstalled software
  • removed books with long filenames (light novel fan; I've had this be the issue with other e-reader software in the past)
  • edited filenames that might interfere with XML (shot in the dark)
  • used .cia forwarder (in case the issue was with TWLM++)
  • moved around install location

For the time being I've taken to writing down page numbers on a pad of paper.

After some testing, it seems the issue originates from having the book I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy on the card. I am at a loss as to why this would be the case, but I sort of want to do more research to find out.

If you are able to edit the epub file, try removing the ' from the title. If you find that fixes it then we have bug to fix
