I think the license is technically fine. Our other projects have adopted the same license as JMC uses: UPL. If you'd like to be consistent, feel free to alter it to UPL as well.
For the maven group id, com.redhat.rhjmc, e.g. com.redhat.rhjmc.jmfrx would be consistent with the other projects. However, for both situations I consider this project yours to lead, so they're up to your discretion! The existing maven id is technically fine as well.
