Error with fosr.vs #108

Im not sure what either of these errors mean, I am confused on what groups mean as well

fit.fosr.vs2 = fosr.vs(Y~., data = new_test, method="grMCP",nbasis=2)
Beginning iterative algorithm
Error: Dimensions of group is not compatible with X
In addition: Warning message:
In bs(1:D, df = nbasis, intercept = TRUE, degree = 3) :
'df' was too small; have used 4
