I use MacOS Catalina and used 4.0.0, but this should work on another type. If you download the source code and cd to the folder, and run the requirements install command in python 3.9.1, (you may not need to run the requirements command. Run "python3.9 -m pip install -r requirements.txt" after installing python 3.9.1 or 3.9.10) Only this version seems to work. When you're in the midi playground folder, type, "python3.9 main.py" If it fails, drag in the file from finder to terminal with a space and run it. It then works. FOR SOURCE CODE, GO TO RELEASES, LATEST, THEN SOURCE CODE (.zip). If you have trouble I might be able to help. If the requirements install fails, then try again. If it fails again, try run the program anyway.

Video of it working: https://youtu.be/pGHkHZqK810

It looks fine, but it is glitchy when not being recorded. Hope this helps. I had to delete one file, but that was when I was experimenting with 3.10.

EDIT: You can use newer versions (3.11.5 tested) and the graphics are better. It also (obviously) launches.
