With the orgs feature on PyPI, there's a PyPA org that exists already — https://pypi.org/org/pypa/. Why not make use of it?

UPD: Dustin explained the implications as an FAQ in the ML: https://mail.python.org/archives/list/[email protected]/thread/E6MWIHEK3M232UILXGQFYPHGJHF7VYW7/.

I'm not a member of that org so I can't move the project.

Would need @di's help, then. Adding him as a project owner could speed it up.

@di Are you on board with this? I can add you as an owner. What's your PyPI username?

@agronholm Dustin posted some implications FAQ in the ML here: https://mail.python.org/archives/list/[email protected]/thread/E6MWIHEK3M232UILXGQFYPHGJHF7VYW7/. If you still on board, tag @di.
