How to update the version of font awesome

I would like to use a fontawesome icon that was introduced in v6.4.2 but asfar as I can tell, the released version of pydata-sphinx-theme vendors v6.1.2. Is there a way for me to provide a more modern version? Or should we update the version that pydata-sphinx-theme vendors?

Since it's not a major version change, I don't mind bumping the theme's vendored fontawesome version, if you're up for making a PR. Otherwise the instructions here about vendoring your own fonts in _static should work I think? https://pydata-sphinx-theme.readthedocs.io/en/stable/user_guide/fonts.html
